California wins Miss Teen USA 2013

19 year old Cassidy Wolf, Miss California Teen USA, defeated 50 other teens representing the 50 states and the District of Columbia to be crowned Miss Teen USA 2013 on Saturday. The 1.7m beauty is only the second girl from California to win the title. The last time California won was in 1994 when Shauna Gambill took home the crown. Wolf was crowned Miss Teen USA at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas. She will spend the next year working for the Miss Universe Organization.
Miss South Carolina, Tori Sizemore, finished as the runner-up. The second runner-up was Miss West Virginia, Haley Holloway, while Miss Georgia, Julia Martin, and Miss Minnesota, Maggie McGill, finished as the third and fourth runners-up.
The top 16 were completed by the delegates from Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Missouri. Miss Missouri, Brenda Smith-Lezama was the winner of the fan vote. Miss Oklahomo was named Miss Photogenic while Miss Nebraska was selected as Miss Congeniality.

Super happy that California won. She was my favorite from the start. The judges agreed with my choices. 4 of my top 5 made the actual top 5.
