Eye For Beauty Blog Most Robbed Beauty of 2016: #6

Eye For Beauty Blog's Most Robbed Beauty is back. Now that all the pageant for 2016 are officially complete, it's time to pay homage to the ones who I was sad to see not place last year. Now, we all know that beauty is subjective and I must say that this year I don't have as many "misses" as in the past and I don't feel so strongly about them. I do still want to give a shout-out to a few who caught my eye during the year.

Has their luck finally run out?

6: Miss Venezuela International, Jessica Duarte

2016 will go gown as one of the worst years in history for Venezuela. Their delegates at Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International all failed to make the cut. Though I wasn't always a fan of Jessica's styling or wardrobe choices, it can't be denied that she had the presence and finesse of a Venezuelan beauty queen. Of Osmel's three top title holders, I definitely thought Jessica had the best shot.

  1. I think it is an injustice that Jessica did not compete at Miss Universe 2016 because she is so much more beautiful than Mariam!! Too bad she did not place at Miss International. But at least Venezuela was not totally shut out of the Big 4 placing at Miss Earth 2016 where their representative placed in the Top 4!

  2. I liked her and think he would have done well at Miss Universe.

    1. I totally agree with you that Jessica would do really well at Miss Universe. But I do not ever recall any Miss Venezuela winners ever crossing over to win another national title! Hopefully Jessica will be the first!!

  3. All those pageants are afraid Venezuela is going to win again and again, so the only way to stop this from happening is unplace them, the moment they make the first cut, they are unstoppable, pure and simple. Why do you think Canada made it, supporting plus size people? Give me a break!!!
