Miss SA Article in KwaZulu Natal Sunday Tribune

Eye For Beauty Blog's editor had the honor of being interviewed by Buhle Mbonambi for an article in the Sunday Tribune (3/30) titled Miss SA: should we care? We would like to thank Buhle Mbonambi and the Sunday Tribune for this tremendous honor.

  1. Problem is that Marilyn Ramos was NEVER promoted in media by the Miss SA office! She didn't even have proffesional photo or a proper photo shoot done. Not to mention clothing sponsors. That she had to find herself. When a previous Miss SA were appointed to run office, the reigning Miss SA were pushed aside to make space for the previous Miss SA. Eventually the public were totally confused as to who the current Miss SA was. Even at the unveiling of the new crown, Marilyn Ramos was not even invited to the event but previous Miss SA winners were invited. Makes you wonder if it wasn't deliberate. Sure hope the 2014 Miss SA are allowed to claim her platform and that she's not over shadowed by any former title holders!!

  2. Well if Malinda Bam accepted that she's NOT Miss SA anymore and backed off, Marilyn Ramos would have been more visible. Instead, Melinda made sure she's in our face all the time. Why did SHE always do interviews in media. Previous years it was done by Miss SA herself. I think Marilyn is a fabulous humble person.

  3. Well Done Andre', you got the point across very nicely. now if they would just do a MU and MW, we would stand a greater chance of moving up the grandslam ladder
