The search for the 60th Miss South Africa was officially launched this weekend in Durban when the regional stages of the competition took off. More than 60 girls competed to make it through to the next phase of the competition and in the end 4 ladies were selected to continue in the competition. Medical student Karishma Ramdev (23) from Chattsworth, graphic designer Leah Prinsloo (22) from Morningside, project financial controller Noxolo Ndebele (24) and mechanical engineer Avania Reddy (25) proved that to the judges they are beautiful, smart and accomplished and stand the chance to be included in the top 12 of Miss South Africa 2018, which will be announced on May 3. The winner of Miss South Africa will be crowned on May 27.
