Eye For Beauty Blog Most Robbed Beauty of 2016: #4

Eye For Beauty Blog's Most Robbed Beauty is back. Now that all the pageant for 2016 are officially complete, it's time to pay homage to the ones who I was sad to see not place last year. Now, we all know that beauty is subjective and I must say that this year I don't have as many "misses" as in the past and I don't feel so strongly about them. I do still want to give a shout-out to a few who caught my eye during the year. (And from this point onwards, I am mentioning ladies who I really wanted to make it!)

She was just as strong as her predecessor:

4: Miss Universe Curacao, Chanelle de Lau

It's rare for Curacao to send competitive stunners in a row. Chanelle was seen as a hot favorite before and during the pageant. Most of us felt that she would emulate her predecessor's performance or even surpass it. Sadly, it was not to be for her. I wish she had toned down her performance on stage just a tad bit to be honest. She showed fire, but was also a bit OTT. You don't need that in the new Miss Universe Pageant. Still, she deserved to be up there.

  1. I knew she wouldn't place. She was trying too hard and come across as fake.
