Eye For Beauty Blog Most Robbed Beauty of 2016: #5

Eye For Beauty Blog's Most Robbed Beauty is back. Now that all the pageant for 2016 are officially complete, it's time to pay homage to the ones who I was sad to see not place last year. Now, we all know that beauty is subjective and I must say that this year I don't have as many "misses" as in the past and I don't feel so strongly about them. I do still want to give a shout-out to a few who caught my eye during the year. (And from this point onwards, I am mentioning ladies who I really wanted to make it!)

I still think she's one of Jamaica's finest:

5: Miss Universe Jamaica, Isabel Dalley

To me, Isabel is one of the most beautiful Jamaican queens in recent years. When she was crowned, I had high hopes for her and thought she'd do really well at Miss Universe as I thought she fitted the mould of the new organization. I love her look as I find it a kind of throwback to the 90s, but in a really fresh way. She reminded me of some of Jamaica's finest like Sandra Foster, Christine Straw and Lisa Hanna. Sadly, she failed to make the top 13. I wonder if they had 15 like last year if she would have made it. Now I kind of wish she had gone for Miss World instead as she would have been a frontrunner at that pageant.

  1. I believe that Isabel got lost in the system due to such strong candidates like the USA, France, Indonesia, Philippines, and Mexico. Countries like Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Curacao who failed to placed totally shocked me and made me guess that the Interview Competition was probably the determining factor that made huge favorites drop! So sad!!!
