Miss World 2014 Engaged

D'Niel Strauss Popped the Question and Rolene said YES
TAKEN: From Miss Strauss to Miss SA to Miss World to Mrs. Strauss. South Africa's
first Miss World in 40 years will walk down the aisle in 2016.
There are celebrations and great joy in two Strauss families today as it was announced that South Africa's first Miss World in 40 years, Rolene Strauss, has accepted her partner of more than 3 years, D'Niel Strauss' marriage proposal. Rolene announced the exciting news with a picture of her beautiful engagement ring on her facebook page and confirmed it to South African magazine, Huisgenoot.

RING FOR A QUEEN: Rolene's engagement ring is said to have been made by Jack Friedman
jewelers. They also made the Miss SA crown. Her wedding gown will be made by Bloemfontein
designer, Casper Bosman, who also designed her Miss World gowns. She is expected to be styled
for the occasion by her good friend and personal stylist, Werner Wessels.
Miss World's mother, Theresa, expressed her joy about the happy news and informed that they had been aware of this for a while as the groom followed the traditional custom of asking the bride-to-be's parents' for permission to marry their daughter.
THE GROOM-TO-BE: The lucky man who will marry the gorgeous reigning
Miss World. D'Niel Strauss has been dating Rolene Strauss for more than
three years... and NO, they are not related.
Strauss still has just under 5 months left of her reign and is committed to fulfilling her duties to the best of her ability before resuming her medical studies and walking down the aisle in 2016.
