Last night, South Africa finally won their first Miss World title in forty years after having come so close on several occasions. Rolene Strauss was named the winner of the 64th Miss World title by Julia Morley, President and CEO of Miss World Limited. The new Miss World will work alongside Mrs. Morley for Miss World's Beauty With A Purpose Charity. The reaction from South Africa has been phenomenal as the nation celebrates their third Miss World title. Penny Coelen won in 1958 and Anneline Kriel assumed the title in 1974 when the winner resigned. Eye For Beauty Blog would like to congratulate the new Miss World and we are so excited to see her start her year as Miss World.
