South Carolina wins Miss Teen USA 2014

K. Lee Graham (17), Miss South Carolina Teen USA, defeated 50 other beauties last night to become the 34th Miss Teen USA. Miss Teen USA 2014 hails from Chapin and is her state's 2nd Miss Teen USA. The first winner from South Carolina was Vanessa Minnillo who won in 1998. Graham stands 1.72m tall and will now start working with the Miss Universe Organization alongside Miss USA and Miss Universe. K. Lee's mother, Jennifer Newin, was Miss South Carolina Teen USA 1985

The first runner-up was Miss Mississippi, Vaeda Mann, and the second runner-up was Miss Pennsylvania, Sydney Robertson. California's Bianca Vierra finished in fourth place, while New Jersey's Valentina Sanchez finished in fifth place.

The top 15 were completed by the delegates from Arizona, Delaware, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Baskin Champion from Alabama was named Miss Photogenic and Miss Pennsylvania, Sydney Robertson, was named Miss Congeniality.

Overall the results seem good and fair. So sad to see the gorgeous girl from Minnesota excluded. I hope she tries for Miss USA. She's stunning.

  1. Maybe the girl from Minnesota did not interview well and that is why she was excluded. I was surprised Kentucky did not make it but very pleased for Pennsylvania, with her short hair I thought she was unique and different. I wish we could have a major international winner with short hair it would be great to have something different, most of these winners are also samey.
