Philippines Wins Miss Supranational 2013

Stunning Miss Philippines, Mutya Johanna Datul, was crowned Miss Supranational 2013 at the conclusion of a glittering event held in Minsk, Belarus on Friday night. The new Miss Supranational is 21 years old and was named Binibining Pilipinas Supranational (Miss Supranational Philippines) at the annual Binibining Pilipinas Pageant in April. Datul stands 1.72m tall and works as a model in her country.

The first runner-up was Mexico's Jacqueline Morales while Miss Turkey, Leyla Kose, finished in third place. Miss Indonesia, Cok Istri Krisnanda Widani finished as the third runner-up while Miss U.S. Virgin Islands, Esonica Veira, finished as the fifth runner-up.

The remaining 15 ladies who placed in the top 20 and got to compete in underwear, swimwear, and fashionable evening wear were Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Australia, Poland, Gabon, Canada, Thailand, Luxembourg, India, Myanmar, Belarus, Russia, Latvia, Brazil, and the Ukraine. Miss Myanmar, Khin Wint Wha was included as the winner of the Miss Internet title.

Miss Gabon, Hillary Ondo, was named Miss Supranational Africa and Miss Brazil, Raquel Benetti, was named Miss Supranational Americas. Australia's Esma Voloder was named Miss Supranational Asia Pacific and Veronika Chachina from the host country, Belarus, was named Miss Supranational Europe.

Earlier in the competition, Miss Philippines was also named Miss Personality while Miss Sweden won Miss Elegance, Miss Puerto Rico won Miss Photogenic, Miss Moldova won Miss Top Model, and Miss Malaysia won Miss Talent. Miss Macau was named Miss Friendship while Nicaragua won Best National Dress.

Stunning winner! Congratulations to the Philippines. I am sure now they will accept this pageant as a grandslam. I've always loved Mutya Datul and I think she is a very worthy winner!

  1. Stunning winner, I now think they will make a clean sweep of the top 5 pageants, I am sure they are going to win MW and MU and they always do well at International and Earth. Congrats Philippines.
